Everyday experiments · Est. 2026

We test the advice so you don't have to.

Does resting dough really matter? Is vinegar a better cleaner? Do paper notes stick better? Corvel Labs runs small, honest experiments on everyday claims and publishes every result, including the ones that fail.

Our method

Every post is a small experiment.

Step 01

Hypothesis

We pick a popular claim and write down exactly what we expect to happen before we start.

Step 02

Method

We design a fair, repeatable test at home, with a comparison, a timeframe and notes you could follow.

Step 03

Result

We record what actually happened, with numbers where we can and honest observations where we can't.

Step 04

Verdict

Confirmed, Busted or Mixed. No sitting on the fence, and no hiding results we didn't like.

About Corvel Labs

Curious like a crow.

The name comes from the corvids: crows, ravens and jays, some of the most curious problem-solvers in nature. They test, observe and try again. We think everyday life deserves the same approach.

We aren't a university and we don't pretend to be. We're a small team who got tired of confident advice with no evidence behind it. Our tests are small, home-scale and clearly explained, so you can judge them and repeat them yourself.
